Cheers to 30 years! After many, many years in the business, our D & D Garage Doors team is excited to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We have experienced our own set of ups and downs throughout the years, and we are extremely thankful for those lessons learned and the relationships developed with our team, our customers & our communities.
Despite this year’s pandemic, we prevailed by remaining open and fully operational, even hiring new team members thanks to continued business from our loyal customers. With new safety precautions but the same motto in mind, ‘Handling your Ups & Downs,’ we want to spend this year giving back to our community as an act of gratitude for all that our community has given us, even during a challenging time. In celebration of our 30th anniversary, our D & D Garage Doors team is thrilled to sponsor more than 30 schools and kids clubs throughout the year, all located in the communities surrounding our 11 design centers across the State of Florida. We are fortunate to be personally connected to many of these schools and kid’s clubs. Whether it be a team member’s spouse working as a teacher, or coach at the school, a child or grandchild attending the school, or a graduate of the school itself, we are elated to have this opportunity to give back in a meaningful, personal way.Â
Over the past five years, we have sponsored over 50 school programs and clubs in addition to 2020 being the 10th year we have donated to food drives & local food pantries at Thanksgiving. The introduction of the pandemic created an opportunity for our team to think outside the box in ways we could continue to provide assistance while following social distancing protocols. This past year we were also pleased to begin a Toys For Tots drive within each of our 11 design centers. From Jacksonville to Fort Myers, we have had great success with this new initiative amongst all of the locations.
