Hi i’m Willie and I have been working with D & D Garage Doors Orlando for about 9 years! I have 16 years experience in the service industry working for other companies. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors Orlando was job security. I am originally from Puerto Rico and a unique thing about me is that i like to help others. The most important part of my job is making sure the customer is satisfied when I have finished the project. What I love most about my job is the chance to service others. One great quality about D & D Garage Doors is that it is a good company and it makes you feel like family.

Hi I’m Rick and I am currently the sales manager at D & D Garage Doors Daytona. I joined the D & D team in 2012 and enjoy working with such an outstanding group of people. Originally, I am from North Carolina where I started my career in the garage door industry. I have over 20 years experience working with garage doors and have enjoyed my career. My main objective is to always have the customer satisfied with our service and making sure they have everything they need. I enjoy meeting the new people who come into our showroom daily and getting a chance to be apart of their experience when purchasing a new garage door. Customer satisfaction is the overall goal here at D & D Garage Doors Daytona.

My name is Karen and I am the scheduler for commercial, install & service at D & D Garage Doors since June 2018. I have been in management for over 35 years in all sorts of backgrounds including restaurants, real estate, finance, and humane society. Originally from Virginia as a military family my mother moved us here to be close to family. Photography has been a favorite hobby of mine. Being accurate, listening, resolving issues and making our customers happy is what I consider to be a successful day. I have been appreciative of all I have learned so far, and hope my growth continues.

Hi I’m Hollie! I’m a Daytona, Florida native and love to spend my weekends on the water. Before my time at D & D Garage Doors Daytona, I worked at a different company for over ten years, took a year off to raise my family and managed to get 13 years of Scheduling and Service under my belt. While looking to return to work after raising my family for a year, I was set on finding a company that was family oriented and had no intention of leaving Daytona anytime soon. Today, I have worked in Scheduling, Permitting and Ordering at D & D for one and a half years. My co-workers and customers are my top priority. I love the people I work with and our ability to collectively allow the customers to understand that they are our highest priority. When I’m not working at D & D, I’m with my family working to ensure that my children have all made it to their baseball and cheerleading practices on time. I cherish the time spent with my husband of eight years and our five children, and I look forward to seeing them playing out on the field or performing on the competition mat.

Hi my name is William and I have been working with D & D Garage Doors Jacksonville for one year now. Previously to working for D & D Garage Doors I had no garage door experience but worked in carpentry and facilities maintenance. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was that D & D offered a new experience and a good place to work. I am a Florida native being originally from Jacksonville. Something unique about myself is that I’ve known my wife since 6th grade and actually dated her in 7th grade. What I feel is the most important part of my job is to make sure the customer is happy and has no questions or concerns after I have completed my work. Hi i’m Mark! I am in Sales here at D & D Garage Doors Jacksonville and I’ve been here for a year and a half now.  My service background includes being a Garage Door Roadshow Representative in Costco stores in Long Island, NY. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was that it was a family owned business. I am a native Floridian, born and raised right here in Jacksonville. Something unique about myself is that even at the age of 60, I still actively compete in a Flag Football League. What I feel is the most important part of my job is listening to our customers in order to professionally meet their garage door needs. I love meeting the customers and becoming a part of their decision making. Hi! I’m Keith and I have been with D & D Garage Doors Jacksonville for 3 years now. My service background includes construction work and truck driving. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was that it was a good company to work for. I am originally from Ohio but moved down here when I was 19 years old. What attracted me to D & D is that I enjoy the work and the people. I am a Florida native and something unique about my family is that my wife, daughter and I all have different last names. I have been a part of the D&D team in Jacksonville since 2013 and have been working in the Garage Door industry since 1988. I am a Florida native who settled in Jacksonville in 2002 with my wife (since 1989) and our 3 children. We are members of First Coast Baptist Church on Blanding. I retired from the US Navy Reserve in 2017 with 35 years of service. Our two sons are now serving on active duty in the US Navy and our daughter is working toward a degree in business marketing.

Hi my name is Pam and I am your Office Manager. Formerly the scheduler at the D & D Garage Doors in Orlando. I am not new to the D & D family, joining the team back in September of 2013. My background is in customer service and bookkeeping so my job as a scheduler comes second nature. I love that we are able to offer homeowners so many options for their garage doors — garage doors are not just plain white anymore, we not only help customers with problems but we help enhance their curb appeal and I love that! I am a true Floridian born and raised. The best part of my job is being able to assess our customers’ situation and schedule them as soon as possible. When our customers can’t get in or out of their garage they need our help fast. At D & D Garage Doors, we are not just a company — we are family!

Hi my name is Kevin and I have been working for D & D Garage Doors Orlando since 2015. Before joining D & D Garage Doors I did pressure washing and also did construction jobs. What attracted me to this job was the organization of the company and overall I just liked the job. I am originally from El Progreso, Honduras and I moved here with my family. The most important part of my job is making our customers satisfied and for them to see how organized we are as a company. What I love most about my job is the freedom it gives me to complete my projects. This is one of the best companies I have worked for. I have proven myself and have become the go to guy in Orlando regarding door issues. I started as a Garage Door installer, then mastered the service side of the business and most recently focused on learning the commercial technician/installer side. As of June 2022 I have now taken on the leadership role as the Orlando Operation Manager.

Hi my name is Steve and I have been working for D & D Garage Doors Orlando since 2014. I have been in the Garage Door business for over 20 years on and off in Connecticut, Arizona, and Florida. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was that I like the work that I do and I am very service driven. I am originally from Connecticut but moved to Arizona for a few years and then finally moved to Florida. Something unique about me is that I am very interested in Video Games and would love to learn how to program. The most important part of my job is being honest, I refuse to sell people things they don’t need and feel taking the honest approach is the best policy. An informed decision isn’t a sale…it’s integrity. What I love most about my job is helping strangers with their problems, constantly learning and perfecting my skills. Hi i’m Ferdinand and I have been working at D & D Garage Doors Orlando for 5 months now. I previously worked at AutoZone for 11 years in Retail Management. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was that it’s a stable and growing company. I was born in Puerto Rico but have been in Florida for almost my whole life. Before D & D Garage Doors I was working with Children in the District and the elderly in my neighborhood. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was that I had heard such wonderful things about the company and that everyone was treated like family. Hi I’m Tom! I have many years of construction experience, beginning as a business owner of a custom cabinet company to construction management. Before coming to D & D 15 years ago, I worked for a national home builder at the Sarasota-Manatee division and a local custom home builder. I grew up here in Sarasota and graduated from Sarasota High School. I have raised my family here and worked in this area for more than 40 years. My goal is to fulfill the needs of each customer in a timely, efficient manner. I love my work and my family at D & D.

Hi I’m Tarree. I have been part of the D & D family since 2007. Before coming to D & D Garage Doors I worked for an excavating/brick paver and landscape supply company here in Sarasota, I did most of the accounting, ordering, helping customers make their selections, sales and job site measuring. I have construction knowledge, at least how the process works but most of my background is in bookkeeping/accounting. I knew Dallas (one of our owners) through softball, our daughters played in the same league here in Sarasota, and from that I just knew this was a place I would like to work at. I am originally from Michigan but I have lived in Sarasota for over 40 years. I have 2 daughters, Michelle and Elizabeth whom I am very proud of. Elizabeth plays softball at Sarasota High School and also for he Quicksilver travel ball team through Miss Sarasota Softball. The most important part of my job is making sure that when the garage door orders cross my desk they are correct and that customer is going to be able to get what they want. If I notice any issues I immediately let our sales person know so it can be corrected before the garage doors are even ordered. I always try to get orders in & delivered as quickly as possible. My job keeps me very busy, and because we are always growing it keeps it very challenging. No two days are the same, nor is it boring and I love what I do. This is a great place to work, we all get along and feels like a family!

Hi my name is Michelle and I have been with the D & D family since 2011. I am the Sarasota garage door, design center sales person for residential and new construction. My background is in lighting; furniture and interior design so naturally choosing the best door that complements a home is something I take great pride in. I love the American Dream story behind D & D Garage Doors – “from the barn to garage door empire” as our local newspaper refers to it. What has kept me here so long is that I absolutely love my job, my team here at D & D and I feel extremely valued by my bosses. We are all working together to see how great of an experience we can create for customers and the possibilities of growth for this company are endless. I am a 3rd generation native and have lived in the area all my life, originally in Bradenton but now residing in North Port, FL. 
The most important part of my job is to WOW our customers. We don’t want to be just slightly better than another company. We want them to have one of the best shopping memories of all time and make it fun and stress free all while getting to know them in the process. Hi I’m Mark! I have been in the garage door business since 1977. Originally from Struthers, OH I moved in 1977 to Florida. Then just over 13 years ago D & D Garage Doors bought Omega and I chose to stay on, because I love the garage door business. Once garage doors are in your blood, you can’t help but continue in the business. I work with both regular family customers as well as large builders. I take pride in doing the job right the first time and gaining the respect of the builders, which generates new jobs when new developments pop up. D & D Garage Doors is really just a great company to work for. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority!

Hi I’m Jessica! I have worked at D & D Garage Doors in Sarasota since 2013 and I am the service scheduler. Right away, after I started I realized how friendly the people I work with are, real team players, who try to help each other in any way possible. Before moving into the garage door field I was an alarm dispatcher, which was very fast paced. I know the area well having been born and raised in Sarasota. My family consists of very honest people that like to travel & take adventures outside. The most important part of my job is being precise and patient. My job keeps me busy, I travel to many of our “sister” D & D office locations, from Sarasota down to Ft. Myers so I can help train & assist. My name is Kurt, and I have been here at D & D for 18 years. Before becoming a service technician I did carpentry mostly trim work. I have lived in Sarasota since 1972, and I have found really good fishing spots with my family. One of the original founders Denver talked me into coming to work for him. I really enjoy making customers happy and getting to meet new people. I strive to provide excellent service.

My name is Kris, and for the last 19 years I have been a service tech at D & D Garage Doors. My family and I are from upstate New York and oddly enough almost my entire immediate family all have names that start with ‘K’. At a young age I delivered milk in quart bottles to homes. Ever since then I have looked for jobs that put me on the road and out in the world. I love service work and meeting new people everyday. My favorite part is knowing that I took a bad situation for the customer and made them feel 100% better by doing an excellent repair. This company has been a God send. I wouldn’t be the person I am if not for Denver and Dallas.

Hi I’m Greg! I have been with D & D for 23 years. I had my own business doing concrete work for 23 years before running the commercial department here at D & D. I’m originally from Indiana but have been in the Sarasota area since I was 8! I always make sure we are providing the best solution to our customers and treating them the way I would want to be treated. It is so important to follow through with what we say and satisfying our customers.

Hi I’m Craig. I have had a lot of experiences including carpet cleaning & water restoration for 7 years and being in the army for 3 years, but before coming to D & D Garage Doors I had no garage door experience. Now that I have been here almost 18 years, I would say that I am a professional. I like being on the go seeing different homes and people every day and giving my all to meet the customers needs. I am originally from Vermont and in my family we are huge Red Sox fans, but don’t hold that against me.

Hi I’m Debbie! I have worked in the Sarasota garage door design center for 14 years now. I started in the garage door business in 1997 when I moved to Florida. I have extensive garage door experience including purchasing, accounts receivable, material costing, coordinating shipments to our other locations and figuring piece work for the installers and service techs. When D & D merged with Omega garage doors in Venice, FL I transferred over to this wonderful company. I am originally from Vermont. I decided to come to Florida to be closer to family since most of them had relocated here. My son just graduated from the Air Force as a military police officer and is a bodybuilder. The most important part of my job is to be accurate & precise in invoicing so that the customer knows exactly what was entailed in the job we preformed for them. I like working with numbers and I enjoy the family atmosphere here in our office. D & D always puts the needs of the customers & their employees first above anything else.

Hello I’m Dawn! I have been part of the Sarasota garage door design center for 15 years now. I retired from well know Florida based company Publix supermarkets after 21 years of service. I was also the United Way coordinator for a couple of years, so I am well versed in serving our community. After Publix I worked at SaraMana wholesalers, towards the end when the company was being bought out, Dallas one of our owners, offered me a job here at D & D. Originally I’m from Decatur, Alabama. I was 5 years old when we moved to Sarasota, Florida. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 35 years. Our son and daughter-in-law have recently moved to Maryland to explore new job opportunities. Our daughter blessed us with a beautiful granddaughter, she just turned 9. My husband and I are very involved as D & D is, with Miss Sarasota Softball. The most important part of my job is to be accurate & precise so it is conveyed to our customers. Our accounting department works hard to service our customers and we all work very well together as a team. D&D has grown tremendously in the 15 years I’ve been here. We all work really hard to make our customers happy!

Hooah my name is Ciara and I am the Sales Administrator. I pride myself in getting my work done in a timely fashion, which I picked up from my 8 years of service in the US Army. My main responsibility is maintaining good relationships with the local builders. When I started off at D & D Garage Doors in 2013 I was with the install department, and was then promoted to Sales Administrator. Even though I was born in Arizona I consider myself a Floridian, because I was raised in Florida. I came to D & D because it was a good family business, which treats me like royalty. I stayed because of the my new friends / co-workers who have been supportive and love my humor.

Hi I’m Bobbie! Before joining D & D 10 years ago I worked as an admin assistant at healthcare crisis center. Prior to moving to Sarasota 23 years ago I born and raised in St. Pete and lived in Tampa, so I didn’t move too far away. I have stayed at D & D because I like the camaraderie that exists between the employees – we are all like family! Much like how I am as a member of a women’s motorcycle club that was started in the 40’s. Whenever I can help a customer fix a problem, that is when I remember why I love my job. Since customer service is such a high priority I know I am important to keeping D & D a highly respected company.

Hi I’m Chuck! I have been in the garage door business for years starting at Omega Garage Doors. Then 14 years ago D & D Garage Doors bought Omega and I chose to stay on, because I wanted to be a part of the largest family owned garage door company in Florida. Before moving to Florida 24 years ago I lived in Ohio. I was drawn here from the lack of snow and the chance to go salt water fishing. The largest that I’ve caught so far was a 175 lbs Tarpon. In the commercial division we deal with the largest and most heavy duty doors all the way down to counter shutters. The most important part of the job is my design build ability to meet our customer’s needs. Even though I have been here for years I find this job can still be a learning experience.

Hello! My name is Sherry and I am an installer scheduler at D & D Garage Doors Tampa. I have been here for 8 years and I am a native Floridian. My service background includes working for a moving company for 15 years where I worked myself up to being a manager. What attracted me to D & D Garage Doors was the opportunity to learn something different and my husband was in the garage door business as an installer. Something unique about myself is that I was married for 28 years, I have 3 daughters and 9 grand kids.
